The Fargo Park District is offering Winter Session Art Classes beginning in January. Classes offered are Create and Explore (ages 3-6+adult), Artmania (ages 6-8), Accelerated Artists (ages 9-12) and Aspiring Artists (ages 10-13). All classes are held at the RDJ Rec Center.
Create and explore is a one day class held from 6:00-7:00 pm on January 5. Children will explore art through a variety of hands-on activities and projects. Help your child learn to use paint, brushes, glue, chalk and other materials.
Artmania is perfect for children who love to draw, paint and be creative. During this class, they will create many pieces of two and three dimensional artwork. This six week class is held on Mondays from January 9-February 13 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
Try a more challenging art class with Accelerated Artists. Children will learn new techniques and strengthen their knowledge of art in these, fun creative workshops. This six week class is held on Tuesdays from January 10-February 14 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
Aspiring Artists is a four week class held Thursdays, January 5-26 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Children will dive deeper into the world of art and learn more about various styles and mediums.
