Now that it finally feels like winter with some snow on the ground, take advantage of the weather conditions. Don’t sit inside all day and bore yourself to death. Get some fresh air and get active.
The Fargo Park District has outdoor skating rinks with warming houses that are open in locations all over Fargo. If skating isn’t your thing, try some downhill sledding at Dike West or the Edgewood Chalet. Edgewood also has snow shoe rentals, cross country ski rentals and on the weekends there are horse drawn rides available. There are also cross-country ski trails at Rose Creek Golf Course, Prairiewood Golf Course, Edgewood Golf Course and Dike East Park to Lindenwood Park.
