Moms, step-moms, grandmas and aunts, bring your favorite cowboy to this hoedown party. The Fargo Park District is hosting the Hoppin’ Hoedown from 7:00-9:30 pm on Saturday, October 13 at the Roosevelt Elementary Gym. Purchase your tickets in advance at the RDJ Rec Center, 1104 2Ave S.
This mother/son event is sure to bring out the cowboy in you. Each boy will receive a bandana and can make a western themed craft. Spend time dancing to music. Mother/son teams can compete in interactive minute-to-win-it style games. Earn points at each game and by dancing for your chance to win a BMX Bike given away at the end of the night.
Come in your favorite western style outfit or casual attire. There will be a photographer to take your western photos and print them out on site for you to take home. There will also be rootbeer floats and other refreshments available for snacking.
