K9 Carnival Rescheduled for August 5

Attention all dog lovers!  The Fargo Park District is hosting the K9 Carnival, formerly known as the Hot Dog Walk, on Monday, August 5 at Yunker Farm Dog Park.  This event originally scheduled in May was postponed due to wet conditions.  Registration begins at 5:00 pm with the competition starting at 5:30 pm.

Bring your dogs to strut their stuff at this event created just for dogs.  Register your dog to win prizes in categories like: best costume, best trick and dog/owner look alike.  There will be give-aways and gift certificates awarded to the winners.  Small prizes will also be awarded for biggest dog, ugliest dog, oldest dog and smallest dog.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.  There will be free hot dogs and Pepsi while supplies last.  Yunker Farm is located north of the Children’s Museum at 1257 28 Ave N, Fargo.  For more information contact the Fargo Park District at 701-499-6060 or go to www.fargoparks.com.
